|Description||Our research group works with Environmental Process Analytics for water and wastewater treatment. We apply advanced sensors for real-time analytics at water and wastewater treatment plants as well as we develop virtual sensors for hard-to-measure water quality parameters. We have broad experience with chemometrics for monitoring of chemical and physical attributes of water and wastewater as well as with optimisation of treatment processes.
We are interested in contributing to the development of climate-neutral solutions for the circular economy, monitoring of contaminants of emerging concern, digitalisation of water industry and intelligent process control for water and wastewater treatment.
The group facilitates the Water Harmony global network of 60 partner organisations across 38 nations https://www.waterharmony.net/. Water Harmony aims at developing multidisciplinary research partnerships and harmonising water-related graduate education across the globe.
